After having met Ryan & Kirsten at a lunch with by my boyfriend, who has known the couple for years, I knew that we would be friends. They were so casual and carefree, and just overall pleasant. Little did I know that I would soon be photographing for them… When Kirsten contacted me in regards to my services for her daughter’s one year birthday and portrait session, I was thrilled. It was a perfect opportunity to not only get to know them better, but to showcase another beautiful family on my blog and website. It was also in good fortune for my boyfriend, who had recently started training to be my second shooter (since my other one has currently become pregnant – CONGRATS, BECCA!!). Since he was already comfortable with this couple, the session was less stressful and overwhelming for him.

We had a lot of fun playing with Gabi and her balls and monkey, and then capturing the family run around and playing on the playground (Gabi’s first time ever playing on one).
