The holidays are always a great reason to get the family together. Since it’s usually only once or twice a year that everyone is in the same room, it is common to coordinate family holiday portraits to remember the occasion and/or to use on holiday cards.

So was the case with “Modern Boca Mom“s founder and author, Michelle. Her family just happened to be in town at the same time and were in need of an updated family portrait, for personal reasons and for their upcoming holiday cards. When she mentioned that she’d love to have them done at the beautiful Waterstone Resort and Marina, I was thrilled as this was my first experience photographing there!

Modern, lush, and surrounded by water, the Waterstone Resort & Marina is an ideal location for any session, whether a wedding, engagement, family, or child(ren). So needless to say, when you combine a lovely family, an adventurous and fun little girl, and a beautiful venue, you get pure perfection!
