A Destination Engagement Session in West Palm Beach

This destination engagement session in West Palm Beach is near and dear to my heart. Kim, the bride-to-be, is practically my sister. We met in the 7th grade while trying out for the track team, and have been best friends ever since. It’s been so long that I can’t even do the math any more 🤣

We were known as the girls who wouldn’t stop talking. Even during the track tryouts, the coach had to repeatedly tell us to focus on running, not talking. Classes were always interesting because we had each other. And we both did better in school because we competed with everything! Who had the better grades, the better test scores, the higher G.P.A.?

Watching her grow into this beautiful person, most caring 3rd grade teacher, and maintain the personality I have always loved, has been such an honor. And now I get to see her marry the man of her dreams!

Love Story

Because who doesn’t love a good love story?!

Kim was an anti-dater. Yes, you read that correct. She put off dating for years and years and years. Her work schedule was insane and when she wasn’t teaching, or going to school to further her education, she was being my fellow crazy, cat lady. Dating took too much time and too much work. She was already working (and studying) practically 20 hours a day. Who has time for anything else?

When Allen first met Kim, he was instantly hooked. But he couldn’t persuade her to go on a date. She thought when he asked her out that it was a joke.

Years went by. I believe three to be exact. Kim was still stuck in her crazy schedule and Allen had been dating someone else. However, as fate would have it, and thanks to Allen’s persistence (and many trips to her school to “visit a friend”), their paths crossed yet again, and Kim finally agreed to go on a date with him.

They’ve been in love and together ever since.

So, based on the above, you’ve probably figured out what these Virginians are doing down here in sunny Florida. Yup! To visit little, ol’ me. And for a tropical destination engagement session in West Palm Beach, of course!

Kim had viewed pictures of Worth Avenue and fell in love. **Allen, on the other hand, would have preferred to skip the session altogether and just wakeboard 😂 Not that those pictures wouldn’t have been epic, but those will have to wait for another day.**

After spending the afternoon with my girl, Fiorella, Kim was dolled up and ready to go! And what a fun session!

I love how the pictures really represent their personalities and relationship. Goofy, light-hearted, fun, and full of kisses … we wouldn’t have had it any other way!
