Because Who Doesn’t Love a Good Love Story …
Alexandra and Joseph’s Bahia Mar Wedding in Fort Lauderdale:
“On a seemingly ordinary day in July of 2017, Joe planned to take Alex out to dinner. She was naturally excited because she didn’t have to cook that night … and she was about to order the left side of the menu. But Joe, oddly enough, was acting excited about going out, too. He was even freaking out about what to wear. Anyone who knows Joe, knows that he never cares about what he wears. He wears the same outfit all the time!
So Alex became suspicious. She searched his pockets for a ring but found NOTHING. Joe, knowing his beloved so well, had a feeling she would do that. Because of this, he hid the ring in his waist band the entire time.
Once at the restaurant, Joe arranged the waitress to bring a bottle of champagne, two glasses, and a blue box. After hours of being cranky and nervous, he got down on one knee and asked Alex to spend the rest of her life with him. Or at least, she thinks that’s what he said … it was all a blur! They were both so happy and excited that they could hardly eat.
Post-dinner, Joe suggested they meet up with their parents. As they walked into the bar, the couple was greeted by the ENTIRE family and friends! Little did Alex know, Joe and Alex’s sister had arranged a surprise engagement party!”
All leading up to their Bahia Mar wedding on January 25th, 2019 …
I remember meeting Alex for the first time at Bahia Mar, almost exactly one year prior to the big day. She described herself as “type A” and knew exactly what her dream wedding looked like. Well, for a “type A” personality, she was super easy going with me (and the sweetest). As for her wedding vision, everything she described to me came to life on January 25th, down to the smallest details!
A Bahia Mar Wedding
Surrounded by ivory, champagne, and navy blue (not to mention their closest friends and family), Alexandra and Joseph’s Bahia Mar wedding was elegant, classy, timeless, and fun:
It was such a perfect, beautiful, and sunny wedding day!
There are no words for this beauty …
I love intimate moments like this … a first-look with the bride’s dad. I’m not crying … you’re crying!
The groom looking quite dapper in his navy blue suit!
Are these two not the cutest?!
These two wanted their first look to be the traditional kind, when Joseph sees Alexandra for the first time walking down the aisle. I do believe that she took his breath away!
And they are now HUSBAND AND WIFE!!
Bahia Mar’s ballroom was transformed completely! With amber uplighting, beautiful high centerpieces with pearls hanging down, champagne-colored linen, and a customized gobo, it was literally exactly what I pictured when I first met with Alexandra and she was describing her wedding vision.
After being introduced, Joseph and Alexandra went straight into their first dance. Which, by the way, was straight out of a fairy tale!
A special dance for a very special uncle:
Because family is everything:
An Epic Reception
And let the fun and dancing commence!!!
Congratulations to this beautiful couple on their new status of Mr. and Mrs.!!!💕
