I’M SO GLAD YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE!

Picking up, where we left off… I love all the little details of a wedding. Details tell a story. From rings and stationery to cuff links and floral bouquets, they are all an expression of you. Some of my favorite touches from past weddings have been charms tied into the bouquet as a way of having someone there in spirit, the bride and groom’s dog’s blue pawprint painted on a cloth and safety-pinned onto a layer of the wedding gown as her something blue, and a sweet note hand-stitched onto a handkerchief for the mother-of-the-bride.

Weddings are special. There are so many amazing moments throughout the day, but there are two that always manage to bring a tear to my eye.

💓When the groom or bride sees the one they’re going to marry for the first time on their wedding day. The expressions and the intimacy that occurs at that moment is indescribable. It’s pure magic.

💓My second favorite moment is when daddy (or whoever is most special in that bride or groom’s life) walks them down the aisle. Oh.my.goodness. The proud look on their face and the emotions that they’re feeling is priceless.

💓Let’s not forget cake and/or desserts table. I mean, I am, after all, SWEET Memories Photography and I do have a major sweet tooth! The smell of the sweetness draws me in, and the way they’re often delicately decorated … 😋
