A Sandbridge Pier and Park Engagement Session: Kayla + Travis

Oh, boy! What to say about this couple … it’s a toughy because Travis and I go way back … to the FIRST GRADE! I have yearbooks that I might just have to share with you all in the near future, but in the meantime, let me introduce you to this very handsome couple! Travis and Kayla met at a local college and became instant friends. Eight years, a house, and a puppy later, the two are ready to tie the knot in Virginia Beach next year.  I had the opportunity to fly back home (thank you to this lovely couple and the groom’s mother!!!) to photograph this T+K’s engagement session at Sandbridge, which is appropriate seeing that this is where they had their first date. Right from the start, it was obvious that they are perfect for one another and are a great balance for each other. It was such a pleasure capturing their playful side, in addition to their romantic one! An adorable couple, love and laughter, gorgeous light, and a side of Oakley (their puppy) made for an amazing engagement session! I am counting down the days until their wedding day! <3
