Jocelyn and TJ’s Bahia Mar Wedding

Charlie Chaplin once said that “a day without laughter is a day wasted.” Jocelyn and TJ’s Bahia Mar wedding is far from being a day wasted. These two are such a fun couple, so relaxed, and full of laughter!

Coming from Kansas, Jocelyn and TJ planned their destination wedding from miles away and placed a huge emphasis on family. This wedding was an intimate one with just their closest loved ones. The majority of their bridal party was family, including the cutest flower girls and ring bearer you have ever seen!

The Wedding

Bahia Mar is a special place to the couple. Not only is it their favorite place to stay when they visit Fort Lauderdale, but it’s also where TJ proposed to Jocelyn. In fact, we did their “first look” at that exact location!

It was only appropriate that they had a beach-themed wedding since they both love the beach. From the bridal party colors and the beach-chair cake toppers to the waterside venue, this wedding had all the components of the perfect beach wedding.

Most noteworthy is the touching performance during the reception. Two important family members in Jocelyn and TJ’s life both played guitar and sang for the couple and their guests. They even had the children, and later, Jocelyn and TJ, come up and perform with them, drums, tambourines, and all.

In conclusion, this is one of the most memorable weddings I have ever photographed. The intimate atmosphere, this couple, and their loved ones made it all the more special!
