Christy and Ibrahim met at work years ago and I have such a personal relationship with these two. Back in the day (since I can’t recall how far back we go haha), some time during my college years, Christy trained me to be a hostess at a local restaurant. Since then, we have remained in contact and try to see each other as often as our busy lives allow. I remember when she first discussed Ibrahim with me, shortly after she and him started dating. We were walking through the streets of downtown D.C., leaving the Madame Tussaud’s museum, she was so excited that she met this amazing guy who treated her so well, and I remember how her eyes lit up just talking about him. And now … here we are! Years later and Christy contacts me to photograph their engagement session and wedding day! I am SO thrilled for Christy and Ibrahim, and even more excited about how gorgeous their engagement session went. It was a beautiful day at Meridian Hill Park in Washington D.C. and we had a blast playing around and catching up. I look forward to photographing their wedding day in Falls Church in fifteen days!!
